The Sales Consultant is responsible for building and cultivating strong relationships with brokers and consultants to create long-term partnerships to generate new business. Initiates the discovery sales process for new business which includes prospecting, pipeline development, gathering information from the prospective client and other sources to enable the team to present the best rate, best benefits, and best solutions to meet the needs of the client. Create and deliver presentations to brokers and prospective clients and provide ongoing education and guidance to brokers to ensure they are up to date on products and services. We are looking for applicants who have strong experience with selling insurance to large employer groups and experience with self-funding and large group benefits/complex customized benefits.
