Property Product Specialist

Chubb’s insurance businesses in North America serve clients ranging from the largest multinationals, mid-size companies and small businesses to high-net-worth individuals, middle-income consumers and farmers and ranchers.

As part of the Commercial Insurance Property Line of Business team, you will be responsible for language analysis of policies written on a non-Chubb wording. The key responsibilities for this role are:

• Review competitors’ wordings and broker manuscripts to identify compatibility with Chubb's product language strategy as well as key differentiators in forms
• In conjunction with the Energy team and Legal department, determine extent of coverage and potential claims impact of the wordings/manuscripts
• Analyze the necessary amendments needed to the competitor wording and broker manuscript to mitigate potential losses
• Work with Product Development in various Property project involving contract amendments as well as IT support
• Collaboration with Home Office Property and industry practice managers

Qualifications:

• 1 to 3 years of underwriting, claims, insurance legal, or other professional work experience.
• Proven ability to solve problems independently and with success.
• Strong organization and time management skills with the ability to follow-up independently.
• High level of responsiveness and efficiency when working with stakeholders.
• Legal or property claims experience an asset
• Ability to respond as a team player, in a multi-task environment.
• Ability to effectively prioritize tasks.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Eastern and Central time zone candidates preferred
