Our office located in Lincoln, RI is seeking a Strategic Partnership Manager.  The selected candidate will be responsible for exploring and establishing relationships with companies and organizations that align with Amica’s brand belief and value propositions that increase Amica’s brand awareness, enhance our lead generation program and power Amica’s profitable growth.  The incumbent is expected to closely collaborate with IT, sales and service partners cross the whole Amica enterprise (auto, home and life business).

Position Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Research, develop, and expand the network of corporate relationships with manufacturers, insuretech, lead aggregators, financial institutions and alumni associations etc. to support the Amica vision and profitable growth
  • Negotiate terms that maintain Amica’s brand integrity and bring value to both members of the organizations and customers of Amica while leveraging Amica and its partners' resources
  • Execute a relevant strategic partnership plan for every partnership owned, ensuring partnership launches, implementation timelines, and business results are achieved
  • Nurture business relationships and leverage strategic partnerships to drive revenue, reach new audiences, increase distribution, and capitalize on shared synergies
  • Oversee governance of the relationships, resolve conflicts, and negotiate Operations & Maintenance (O&M) agreements
  • Monitor the value of the ongoing relationship through targets and KPIs; build and maintain a strong intelligence base on key market trends to help inform our decision making
  • Demonstrate leadership and effective time management in extending the vision, strategies and tactics required for profitable and sustainable partner engagement and implementation across all relationships
  • May be called upon to handle other duties as required

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in business development, partnership management or sales organizations
  • Experience in developing and negotiating contracts and business agreements
  • Experience working effectively across different business functions and all levels of management, both internally and externally
  • Proven track record of sourcing, negotiating, and executing business partnerships
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team setting and capable to manage competing priorities and ambiguity, and have the strong drive for success
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Prior insurance or financial industry experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of marketing technologies and experience working with IT professionals is desirable
