Senior Service Account Manager, Business Insurance

As a Senior Service Account Manager, Business Insurance at Marsh McLennan Agency, you will assist our larger clients with complex service and risk management needs.  You will manage relationships with clients, prospects, client teams and producers to provide best in class service and drive growth.  A high school diploma is required and an Associates or Bachelors degree preferred.   To succeed in this role, you will possess Five or more years insurance experience, a Property & Casualty license (or ability to obtain within 90 days), and Insurance designations (i.e. INS, AAI, CISR) or demonstrated knowledge of Business Insurance coverages.  We desire candidates working towards CPCU, CIC, ARM, and/or AU designations or those able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge and ability.

Here’s how we define early success for a Senior Service Account Manager, Business Insurance:

  • Serves as a client contact and responds to complex client needs and questions to improve the client experience.
  • You will provide coverage analysis, risk management recommendations, negotiate coverage and pricing with carriers, and prepare proposals.
  • Resolve billing issues, make policy changes and respond to clients in a timely and professional manner, using multiple systems and agency standards and workflows.
  • Meet with clients to discuss renewals, issues and resolve problems.
  • Mentor Technical Account Managers by developing their policy-checking skills and coverage knowledge.
