Job Description


The Underwriting Support Technician will be part of a team, interacting primarily with internal business partners making sure that all daily tasks are completed by the department’s service standards previously agreed upon. This position will involve organizing submissions of non-profits seeking an insurance policy.This is a full-time position in a fast-paced and growing environment. This will be a hybrid position (partially remote).


  • Performing a wide variety of administrative and staff support services.
  • Monitors and receives documentation from three sources: Email, Fax, Mail/scanned into document management system
  • Quick decision-making skills to determine department/business unit for document routing
  • Performs high volume data entry functions
  • Making sure that all tasks are completed timely, accurately and meets the department’s service standards.



  • High school diploma and 1-2 years experience working in an office setting
  • Fast, accurate, data input skills with a strong attention to detail, and the ability to check one’s own work to assure accuracy.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time doing repetitive work.
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Must be able to multi-task and problem solve.
  • Self-starter who is flexible, adaptable and maintains workflow.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


  • Associate's degree or higher
  • Experience working in an insurance-related environment
