 Location: We support US flexible working arrangements in the contiguous 48 states.

The opportunity: 

The Business Owner, Digital Client Experience is a leadership position that plays a key role in defining, prioritizing, and ensuring the delivery of value within the Digital Client Experience value stream. The Business Owner role is critical in SAFe, as it represents a leadership position that ensures that the value stream and its components are in alignment with the organization's strategic goals and delivering value to customers effectively and efficiently. They are responsible for setting the vision and strategic direction for the value stream, and they have the authority to make key decisions that impact value delivery. They work closely with the Product Manager in IT to refine “the why” and “the what” of the solution.

How you will contribute: 

  • Digital Client Experience Ownership: The Business Owner is accountable for the Digital Client Experience value stream, which represents a series of steps or activities required to deliver a product or service to the customer. They have accountability for ensuring the value stream delivers value effectively.

  • Alignment with Strategic Objectives: They work closely with Lean-Agile leaders, including the Product Manager, and stakeholders to ensure that the value stream aligns with the strategic objectives and priorities of the organization.

  • Value Stream Vision: Business Owners help define the vision for the value stream, including goals, milestones, and the overall direction of value delivery.

  • Value Delivery and Prioritization: They are responsible for defining what features, capabilities, or solutions need to be delivered to meet customer needs and business objectives. They prioritize work based on value and strategic goals.

  • Decision-Making: Business Owners are empowered to make decisions regarding the value stream, including approving budgets, investments, and high-level feature priorities. They synthesize various perspectives across the business and evaluate decisions against top objectives and business and Client goals.

  • Risk Management: With the Product Manager and Value Stream Lead, they identify and manage business risks and dependencies within the value stream, taking proactive steps to mitigate issues that could impact value delivery.

  • KPIs and Metrics: Business Owners define and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and performance of the value stream.

  • ·Collaboration and Communication: They facilitate communication and collaboration among Lean-Agile leaders, Value Stream Engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure that everyone is aligned with the value stream's objectives and progress.

What you will bring with you: 

  • Ability to work with a diverse group of people

  • 5+ years of professional experience working in a digital transformation role.

  • 7+ years of experience in a senior management or business ownership role.

  • Strong leadership, management, and strategic planning skills

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in business management or technical field is preferred.

  • Knowledgeable of agile development practices and experience using tools such as Jira and Confluence to create user stories and author product documentation.

  • Collaborative in your approach, appropriately engaging team members to carry out your objectives.

  • Ability to motivate and lead a team to achieve goals.

  • Flexible to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment in a professional and prompt manner.

  • Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills

  • Benefits/HR technology or insurance experience is a plus, but not required.

If you are a California resident, the salary range for this position is:  

  • Southern California region: $154,100 - $231,200 annually 

  • Central California region: $162,500 - $243,800 annually 

  • Northern California region: $173,700 - $260,600 annually  

  

If you are a Colorado or Nevada resident, the salary range for this position is $147,100 - $220,700 annually. 

If you are a Connecticut or Maryland resident, the salary range for this position is $154,100 - $231,200 annually.

If you are Washington or Rhode Island resident, the salary range for this position is $162,500 - $243,800 annually.

  

If you are a New York resident, the salary range for this position is $173,700 - $260,600 annually 

   

We consider various factors in determining actual pay including your skills, qualifications, and experience.  In addition to salary, this position is eligible for incentive awards based on individual and business performance as well as a broad range of competitive benefits.
