The Global Transactions Lead is a key role in the Global Corporate Real Estate Portfolio tower and aligns with common goals of quality and ability to strategically evaluate, execute and shape the future strategic opportunities for Chubb’s global real estate portfolio. The purpose of this position is to, (1) initiate, lead and manage the end-to-end process of Real Estate transactions globally, handling primarily lease negotiations, renewals, sub-leasing, rent reviews, reinstatement, surrender and relocations in respect to a leased Office and Data Centre portfolio. (2) Supervision of the Transactions team (6 outsourced personnel) and responsible for day-to-day management of third party vendors in respect to Brokerage and Transaction, as well as undertaking Business Cases and seeking relevant management approvals for transactions (3) provide consistent reporting on both completed transactions and future opportunities, (4) use knowledge of lease accounting to aid in the development of detailed financial analysis of strategic opportunities, (5) assist with the overall provision of services provided by the Portfolio tower in the GCRE Center of Excellence (COE) and support the VP, Portfolio with all activities to shape the real estate strategy at Chubb.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
Key individual in the Portfolio tower for GCRE, reporting to the VP, Portfolio
Leads on all Real Estate Transactions globally, including all activities supporting acquisition and disposition of the real estate portfolio and space needs across business units, geographies and regions
Uses extensive industry experience to propose effective solutions to optimize the real estate portfolio while ensuring business needs are met and critical dates are evaluated
Leadership on financial aspects of the real estate life cycle for Chubb’s active global portfolio. Guides other GCRE team members both inhouse and outsourced on financial outputs.
Execute portfolio strategy projects across Chubb’s Global Portfolio representing ~9M RSF, ~620 individual leases, 30,000 Staff across 4 regions.
Oversight of 3rd part providers (CBRE & JLL) to ensure quality, timely delivery and best practices are followed in order to drive optimum value for the Enterprise.
Supervision of outsourced transactions team – 5 transaction managers and 1 financial analyst - guiding execution of highly complex real estate strategic initiatives while ensuring focus on functional objectives; well versed in the real estate brokerage business.
Work collaboratively with other members of the GCRE team, including the GCRE Workplace tower and the Regional Directors to execute portfolio strategy and process internally.
Provide reporting on a quarterly and annual basis regarding accomplishments. Constantly review the portfolio to identify opportunities.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
10+ years in corporate or commercial real estate with specific experience in areas of transaction management, portfolio management, portfolio strategy or asset management
7+ years of real estate portfolio strategy development, implementation or consulting experience
7+ years of experience in data and process governance, data management
Strong real estate financial acumen and writing skills
