The Specialty Insurance Client Service Support Team supports external agents, internal Underwriters and other disciplines as needed. Agent communication is primarily received via email; this is not a call center. CSST’s mission is to be the single point of contact for our users by providing high quality and innovative support.
This position provides analytical and administrative support to the CSS Client Service Support Team who troubleshoot and resolve external system users operational challenges. Works with project teams and IT Business Analysts to make sure that the products and/or application development within the rating systems meet the needs of end users. Responsible for making sure the final deliverables meet project specifications and requirements. Interacts professionally with both external clients and internal business partners within the Company.
Maintains a solid understanding of AmTrust’s mission, vision, and values. Upholds the standards of the AmTrust organization.
Proficiently manage the resolution of reported issues, balancing the need for customer service and issue resolution with expertise and professionalism.
Effectively translate technical concepts into easy-to-understand language to assist clients
Accurately and efficiently record all interactions with clients using a Helpdesk management database
Analyzes and identifies the sources of application problems and works with IT to successfully resolve application problems
Become the subject matter expert for proprietary E&S system functionality
Follow policies and procedures regarding the safeguarding of sensitive information
Performs other functionally related duties as assigned
3-5 years Commercial Property and Casualty Insurance background required
Experience working on policy issuance systems with an underwriting Quality Assurance and/or basic end user testing knowledge required
BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience is preferred.

Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

After You Apply
Once you submit your application, a member from our Human Resources department will review your completed profile and resume. If you're well-qualified and appear to be a good fit, you'll be contacted by a recruiter to schedule a phone interview.
The phone interview gives us a chance to get to know you a little better and gives you a chance to ask questions and find out if working with AmTrust really is right for you. Expect your phone interview to last between 30 and 60 minutes. We want to find out about your past experiences and learn more about your goals and plans for your future.
After the phone interview, we'll invite top candidates for an in-person interview with the hiring manager, who ultimately makes the offer of employment to successful candidates.
Receiving an Offer
