Our office located in Lincoln, RI is seeking a Marketing Specialist to support our marketing operation efforts through media planning, buying and budget management. Candidates are required to have a broad knowledge of evaluating media trends, evaluating marketing campaigns, and maintaining budgets.  

Job Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and collaborate with agency partners to monitor evolving media trends and evaluate new and existing opportunities for fit within budget and marketing goals
  • Manage day-to-day communication with vendors, agencies, measurement partners and internal stakeholders including negotiations, approvals, creative assets, data needs and reporting
  • Report on media delivery metrics (impressions, CPM, R/F, daypart mix) and collaborate with the Marketing Manager and Marketing Analytics team to analyze campaign performance and provide recommendations
  • Drive media and creative collaboration to ensure channel specific creative approaches and best practices are used
  • Maintain marketing budgets to reflect optimization and conduct regular marketing activity analyses
  • Track and analyze changes in competitor media strategy utilizing tools such as Competiscan and Comperemedia 
  • Participate in various marketing related activities as defined by management
  • May be asked to handle other related duties and projects as needed

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in advertising or marketing is preferred
  • Traditional and digital media planning and buying experience
  • Experience with billing and budget management
  • Advertising agency experience and familiarity with the insurance industry are a plus
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Strong data and analytical experience
  • Critical thinker with strong problem-solving and research abilities
  • Intermediate/advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Work from home may be available up to two days a week once trained to work independently.
