Ability to support multiple underwriters and multiple casualty product lines simultaneously & to act as the liason between underwriting and the centralized processing center
Maintain records management information in applicable software database
Communicate with customers to confirm or obtain data needed for policy/endorsement issuance and servicing
Provide primary communication and direction for all processing requirements including premium registration, policy issuance instruction, endorsement requests, billing requirements, and audit review
Identify appropriate company forms and endorsements used in policy construction.
Maintain service standards by timely response to broker & underwriting requests
Maintain service standards by the timely preparation of premium registration/issuance instructions for the centralized processing unit
Responsible for the renewal preparation for the underwriters within our service guidelines (creating the renewal record in the automated underwriting system/analyzing mid-term changes from prior term & updating the renewal record/ordering DnBi reports & loss runs)
Responsible for the prompt follow-up with the brokers for underlying policies & subjectivities
Responsible for the ordering/review/issuance instructions for the premium audits
Other duties and special projects as assigned
Job Requirements:
High school diploma preferred, or equivalent.
5+ years Casualty insurance knowledge/experience required
General Liability, Umbrella/Excess experience preferred
Experience with policy forms – Casualty lines
Strong data entry skills – experience with Microsoft Word and Excel applications.
Strong organization and prioritization skills required.
Good attention to detail.
Good verbal and written communication skills required.
