Marsh has a newly created opportunity for an Insurance Data Analyst. This position is remotely based. In this position, you will oversee, develop and analyze data, data strategies and data visualization related to Marsh’s Affinity insurance programs. This is an exciting opportunity that can provide a data driven and motivated individual the opportunity for professional growth and career advancement.

We will count on you to:

  • Utilize visualization tools and software to communicate information that reports on program performance (KPIs) and trends
  • Develop analytical/automated dashboards for management and clients that allows performance to be measured over time across all contractual portfolio performance and servicing metrics.
  • Understand client needs and contractual requirements in reporting large amounts of information in ways that are easy to interpret and act on. 
  • Establish new data gathering and analysis techniques

What you need to have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 4+ years of work experience  
  • Experience in customer empathy, including design thinking, customer journey/persona development, and hypothesis-driven test and learn
  • Knowledge and proven expertise of R, Python, SQL, or similar
  • Knowledge and proven expertise with Tableau
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Advanced problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently on projects and excellent attention to detail

What makes you stand out:

  • Experience in the insurance industry  is an advantage but not essential

The National US average range for this role is $46,154 to $96,154. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications & education. We do not anticipate candidates hired into this role would immediately earn a salary at or near the top end of the range however, such a decision will be dependent on a case by case basis.
