Job Description
ABFS Insurance Agency offers various specialty niche personal and commercial lines products through a variety of admitted and surplus lines companies. We've been in business for over 30 years. We are looking for a friendly, energetic, accurate person to join our growing team of insurance professionals.
A Michigan Property and Casualty Insurance license or the ability to acquire one within 6 months, is required. A Bachelor's degree or related customer service experience is preferred.
Responsibilities include:
-- Call prospective insureds to offer insurance quotes and explain coverages
- Prepare quotes, sell, underwrite, and issue personal lines insurance products
- answer phones; assist customers with applications, coverage changes & billing issues
- learn and maintain knowledge of available personal lines products / processes / underwriting guidelines
- monitor and respond to incoming emails
- enter customer data into company systems and our agency management system
- build rapport with clients
- suggest and offer to quote other products related to what is being worked on
- process customer service requests
-Perform other duties as assigned
Salary & Benefits:
This position may be filled at either 32 or 40 hours per week depending on the candidate.
