Here’s Where You Come In
The Commercial Senior Associate Account Manager provides administrative and clerical support to the Commercial Channel through: customer service, client record maintenance, and assistance with special projects, as assigned.
Coordinate the servicing of assigned accounts with the Account Managers
Enter data as required by insurance company automation systems -Carrier Websites -rating policies on line, loss runs, customer service questions on billings
Provide support to the Account Manager on pre-renewal processes
Handle correspondence and the clerical processing of accounts including applications and computer input of each account as directed by account manager
Conduct business in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of both the business and earnings implications of the Company
Prepare invoices, transmittals, ID cards, certificates of insurance, binders, and cancellation forms as required
Prepare Certificate Insurance Document Form/ Activity and attach policy forms for ResourcePro
Claim Acknowledgements input to Agency Management System
Claim Kits updated and sent to Client Annual Basis
Review and process change requests in the agency management system
Check endorsements for completeness and accuracy. Invoice and delivery to clients
Invoicing -Renewals if needed by Account Manager, or Cancellations and Audits
Maintain an accurate suspense/activity follow-up system on all items that require follow-up
Maintain expiration report on renewal items required for pre-renewal, loss runs etc.
Responsible for scanning/electronic filing of communications and documents
Input/maintain data on account management system and ancillary systems as required
Other responsibilities as assigned by Account Manager – special projects in Excel premium allocation
Bid Bonds as needed
Notary Bonds as needed
Loss Summaries -Annual, Quarterly, Monthly Account by Account, from Loss Runs, update in Excel and check for accuracy
Answer Customer Billing Questions from Agency Management or Carrier Websites

5+ years of insurance background or work in a professional office environment
Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel etc.)
Ability to organize large volumes of information and set priorities
Aptitude for details with consistency in follow-up
Ability & desire to take ownership of role expectations with accountability to internal and external clients
Intermediate insurance knowledge with proven ability to apply same to your daily work
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to move quickly from task to task as needed due to customer demand
