Position Summary
The call team Marketing Representative plays an essential role in engaging and building relationships with one of Ryan Specialty’s managing general underwriters, US Assure’s broad customer base and is part of a team of innovative, experienced marketers who work with purpose. Over the phone, you’ll take the lead in developing and strengthening meaningful relationships with insurance professionals across the country. In this position you are empowered to drive policy submissions and premium by promoting events, digital content, products and key policy features via outbound phone calls and emails. Your unique style, laser-focused listening skills and ability to serve up personalized experiences will inspire and motivate agents to learn more about builders’ risk insurance and how we can help increase their bottom line.
What will your job entail?
Duties and Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to educate and motivate insurance professionals to sell builders’ risk.
- Communicate Ryan Specialty’s offerings including, resources, programs, eligibility, key product features, value propositions and benefits of doing business.
- Adhere to sales-technique best practices and workflow processes specific to different call types.
- Meet individual and team goals for calls made, quality standards and KPIs that drive our efforts.
- Professionally respond to inquiries and requests from agents via email
- Collaborate with team members, share insights and contribute to the knowledge transfer process.
- Work 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., and go home smiling.
Education Requirements
- High school diploma required, Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business or other related field preferred.
Years of Experience
- Three years combined experience in sales, retail, hospitality, marketing, as a brand ambassador or other related field
Additional Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Experience working in a customer centered environment.
- Bilingual in Spanish and Mandarin is a plus.
- Strong phone‐qualifying and prospecting skills, and ability to professionally overcome objections.
- Ability to creatively reach leads, position products and identify decision makers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft suite of applications
- Familiarity with a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
- Above average levels of independence, initiative, personal accountability and self‐motivation
- Positive, team-oriented attitude
Physical Demands
- Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting or prolonged periods
- Wearing a headset to make calls.
- Ability to type 35 words per minute.

Hourly range for this role is $20- $21/hr.

The target hourly rate range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00 per hour.
The wage range for this role considers many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, licensure and certification, business needs, and market demands. The pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Full-time roles are eligible for bonuses and benefits.
