Seeking experienced Senior Property and Casualty Underwriter (Commercial / Excess Property and Casualty) with an entrepreneurial flare. This role is well suited for a Production Underwriter who thrives on customer and wholesale/broker interaction.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Trend analysis
- Pricing
- Profitability, retention and growth goals
- Pipeline management
- Independent underwriting decisions within assigned authority
- Comply with company and industry regulations
- File management
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, high school or equivalent required
- 3+ years of Commercial P&C Experience
- Continuing education is a plus
- Polished and professional communication and presentation skills
