We are currently seeking a motivated and well-organized Associate Underwriter to support the acquisition and retention of profitable commercial lines customers.  The selected candidate will be involved with a variety of underwriting activities, which includes preparation of quotes and proposals, organizing and analyzing underwriting information, working closely with multiple underwriters, and cultivating strong working relationships with agency personnel, our Rating and Loss Control staff, and other departments.

The position will be located in our Mid-Atlantic office in Glen Allen, VA with the ability work a hybrid schedule (3 days in office; 2 remote).

The salary range for this position is $24.80-$38.19 hourly. This salary range is an estimate and the actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
