The Manager (Pricing) Underwriting will develop and implement departmental procedures and maintain high quality standards to ensure Underwriting efficiencies. This individual will develop departmental control expenses within the budget and oversee the assignment of underwriting authority to their reports. They will establish controls to monitor ability to accept risks and determine pricing. The Underwriting Manager will establish audit and monitoring procedures to ensure adequate review of underwriting files.

Managing a competent and motivated staff of underwriters
Training and development team
Monitoring performance and providing overall guidance
Oversee the underwriting of complex accounts and resolve issues
Leading a small team of direct reports to deliver results

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
5+ years of financial analysis, pricing and/or underwriting experience, at least 3+ years of which must be within a healthcare environment
1+ years of experience working for a Pharmacy Benefits Manager (PBM) or in a consulting role on behalf of PBM clients
Experience building complex financial models and economic analysis
Experience with underwriting financial offers for existing and new clients, using a variety of forecast models
Experience developing and delivering presentations and communicating effectively, both verbally and through written communication
Progressive work experience, preferably in a finance related role
Experience working in a cross functional work environment with an ability to quickly understand new areas
Intermediate skills in MS Excel, with proven ability to understand basic to moderate levels of formulas, formatting, and ad hoc spreadsheet building

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $82,100 to $146,900. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $90,500 to $161,600.
