Zurich is currently hiring a Claims Administration Associate to join the Crop Claims Team!


As a Claims Administration Associate, you will support the Crop Claims team. The Claims Administration Associate provides technical and administrative leadership to Claims office within area of responsibility, while performing a variety of administrative and operational duties for functional area. Responsible for supporting and delivering compliance with Operations Best practices, internal controls and/or complex administrative procedures. This position will work from a home-based office.   


Claims Administration Associate is responsible for a variety of tasks:


  • Applies knowledge of complex operational best practices and procedures to daily activities.

  • Responsible for managing and supporting key support functions for office, as outlined in Operations Best Practices.

  • Ensures compliance with operational reporting requirements through use of appropriate monitoring controls.

  • Provides expertise on claim assignment process and acts as liaison with Call Center on behalf of department.

  • Responds to customer inquiries quickly, accurately and in a professional manner. Offers escalated problem resolution for internal partners and escalates inquiries appropriately.

  • Identifies and resolves problems by referring to procedural documentation and reference materials.

  • Offers and implements process improvement ideas to improve efficiency of functional area.


Basic Qualifications:


  • High School Diploma or Equivalent and 3 or more years of experience in the Claims or Operations area


  • Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 1 or more years of experience in the Claims or Operations area


  • Knowledge of database applications


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to provide expertise and provide guidance to team members and business partners

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills

The salary range for this role is $40,100 - $57,300. This is the range Zurich NA in good faith believes is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of the posting. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed Remotely in any US stateBase pay offered may vary depending on, but not limited to education, experience, skills, geographic location, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.  This job is also bonus eligible. No amount is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable.
