Zurich is currently searching for an IT Service Delivery Sr Consultant to work on our IT Services team. This position will be out of our Overland Park Office.
IT Services manages day-to-day IT infrastructure service for Zurich North America on a national scale, in partnership with our global partners and both our internal customers and our external suppliers and in accordance with contract requirements, SLAs, and internal agreements.
The IT Service Delivery Sr Consultant applies technical and operational knowledge to deliver effective IT Services that meet the day-to-day needs of the business. In addition, the IT Service Delivery Consultant will be expected to work proactively to identify and strengthen service capabilities at the technical and business process levels.
Responsibilities may include, but are not necessarily limited to, the following:
Utilizes advanced technology and collaborative skills to provide service design expertise for the introduction of new solutions and services in support of the Business strategy
Effective collaboration with all peers and partners (internal & external)
Acts as an escalation point for IT services within own domain
Proactively monitor systems availability/performance and takes adequate actions for problem prevention in own area of responsibility
Maintain methods, tools and standards to ensure service availability and performance
Provide technological input to long-term technology strategies, implementation and operation
Supports business projects in planning stages to ensure consistent design and implementation within the existing (planned) infrastructure
Demonstrates the positive impact of the service improvement programs through effective use KPI's
Educate and trains new employees and employees from other functions
Bachelors degree and 5 or more years of experience in the information technology area OR Zurich Cybersecurity Technician Apprentice, including Associate Degree and 6 or more years of experience in the information technology area OR
High School Diploma or Equivalent and 7 or more years of experience in the information technology area AND
MS Office experience
Knowledge of information technology operations
Knowledge of Finance and Insurance Operations area
Experience working with IT demand management ticketing systems and processes
Experience with monitoring systems and troubleshooting concepts
Experience in building and managing stakeholder relationships
Collaborating in team environment
Excellent communication skills
Strong analytical skills
Customer service experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills
