Payments Agent
Job Details:
Employment Status: Permanent/ Full Time
Starting Pay: Based on education & experience
Hours of operation are Monday through Friday 8:30 - 7pm and Saturdays 8:30 to 4 pm.
Saturdays are a must.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Administration of reinstements and cancellations of all carries including those to be mailed out by Texas staff
Processes and downloads payments in various formats (cash, cash equivalent, credit card, online)
Balancing the payments department sheets every morning and evening
Updating the Agency Management and Premium Finance systems every morning and/or night
Responsible for setting up ACH accounts
Providing all Underwriters company cancels
Support staff to the Underwriters
Sets up customer refunds for Texas to process
Other duties as assigned
Education & Experience:
  • Associates Degree in Business, or Accounting Preferred
  • Bilingual English & Spanish Required
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written


Required:
  • High school diploma
  • Minimum of 1 or more years of customer service experience
  • Strong typing and basic computer skills
Preferred:
  • Working knowledge of MS systems, i.e., MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Outlook and MS Word.

  • Willing to execute RPS' Employee Agreement or Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement which requires, among other things, post-employment obligations relating to non-solicitation, confidentiality and non-disclosure.
