What You'll Do: As an Actuary on our Life Actuarial and Risk Management team, you will calculate actuarial values to support the development and implementation of strategies for the life insurance company and ensure the appropriateness of the data, assumptions and judgments used. You will be part of a team responsible for the production and analysis of actual and projected financial results; profitability analysis and management of our in-force life insurance policies and annuity contracts; and development of the actuarial models needed to support these activities. In addition you will have opportunity to interact and engage with professionals in a variety of other areas across the company.
What It Takes to Join Our Team:
• College degree in math, actuarial science, or related degree and/or equivalent experience preferred.
• At least six years of related work experience and ASA (Associate of the Society of Actuaries) professional designation required. Continued progress towards an FSA (Fellowship of the Society of Actuaries) designation is preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of actuarial software and/or programming ability required.
• Strong knowledge of life insurance and/or annuity products.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with coworkers.
