AmTrust North America is expanding our Inside Sales team and we are looking for individuals who are sales driven and competitive to join our team.
This is an outbound call environment where our Inside Sales Managers market our products and manage production for agencies within their assigned territory.
Inside Sales Managers are responsible for developing and enhancing agency relationships over the phone to drive sales in a given geographic region. Position requires educating and selling the value of AmTrust products and services to both prospected and established AmTrust agencies.
This is a position with excellent opportunity for visibility and upward movement within the AmTrust sales and marketing division.
Calling on partner agents appointed with AmTrust to generate new business submissions
Prospecting new and underperforming AmTrust agents for new business opportunities
Monitors submissions and follows up on quoted accounts as well as incomplete submissions
Actively participates in weekly sales calls and quarterly and annual sales team meetings
Performs on specific monthly , quarterly, and annual sales goals and revenue objectives
Trains partner agents on AmTrust products and underwriting guidelines
Trains partner agents on use of on-line quoting and account management systems
Maintains an understanding AmTrust products, services and solutions and initiates discussions with other business units as appropriate
Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment
Bachelor’s degree preferred
2+ years’ insurance experience preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Ability to multi-task is a must
Previous sales experience preferred
Willingness to learn multiple lines of business
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proven team player

After You Apply
Once you submit your application, a member from our Human Resources department will review your completed profile and resume. If you're well-qualified and appear to be a good fit, you'll be contacted by a recruiter to schedule a phone interview.
The phone interview gives us a chance to get to know you a little better and gives you a chance to ask questions and find out if working with AmTrust really is right for you. Expect your phone interview to last between 30 and 60 minutes. We want to find out about your past experiences and learn more about your goals and plans for your future.
After the phone interview, we'll invite top candidates for an in-person interview with the hiring manager, who ultimately makes the offer of employment to successful candidates.
Receiving an Offer
If you're chosen for the job, you'll get a verbal offer from the Recruiter, followed by a written offer via email with all the specifics. Of course, we hope you'll like what you see and accept our offer. Congratulations! You're well on your way to becoming part of the AmTrust team.
