Bachelor’s Degree or demonstrated equivalency of education and experience
Sales insurance license must be maintained as required by state law
1+ years of sales experience in the insurance industry or master’s degree
1+ years of experience building and maintaining positive, constructive working relationships with senior level executives both internally and externally
Willingness to travel as required
1+ years of experience obtaining and exceeding sales goals
1+ years of experience managing the sales process for a full range of products to include Medical and Ancillary
Develops and maintains solid broker/consultant relationships
Develops and maintains key internal relationships
Understand customer and broker/consultant needs and provide value-added consultation
Identifies key brokers/consultants for management development
Presents a positive image of UHG in the marketplace
Community involvement through professional organizations, associations, and local organization
Maintain current knowledge of all UHC products, services, and underwriting practices and principles
Effectively communicate UHG/UHC strategies and mission to the marketplace

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $60,000 to $115,000. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $65,000 to $130,000. Role is also eligible to receive bonuses based on sales performance. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
