This Intern will work as part of a dynamic team involved with providing technical support and issue resolution to internal and remote associates that may include users of all types and skill levels. This internship also has the potential to work with other IT areas like Infrastructure and System Services as skills develop. The opportunity provides plenty of growth opportunities with fantastic on-the-job learning and mentoring. This internship will be part-time during the school year (15-20 hours/week) based on class schedule and our company’s business hours and can be 40 hours per week during breaks. The ideal candidate for this position will graduate in Dec 2023 or later with an IT focused degree.

The Software Developer Intern is responsible for the design, code, and testing of software programs and applications related to billing, reinsurance, the general ledger, and back-end financial systems for SECURA Insurance. This includes researching, designing, documenting, and modifying software and specifications throughout the production lifecycle.

This position supports the Subrogation department by assisting with various aspects of the Subrogation process. Throughout the school year, this position is part-time 20-30 hours per week based on class schedule and our company’s business hours, which are Monday through Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm. During the summer and breaks, this position can be 40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be able to intern for a full year or longer while enrolled in school.

The internship will be focused on providing support within our executive project management office. This opportunity is based in our Neenah office. The ideal candidate for the position will be available to start in summer 2023 and will graduate in May 2024 or later with a Bachelor’s degree in Business.
