We trace our company history to the 1950s, when Gary Albrecht began helping clients with life insurance and estate planning needs. In the following years, as employers sought new ways to compensate and care for their people, the employee benefit market grew rapidly. These offerings were a natural fit in Gary’s practice. His commitment to taking care of customers, doing what’s right, being fair, and delivering as much value as possible quickly built him a loyal client base. Action developed a 35+ year relationship with Blue Cross® Blue Shield® of Michigan in the group space, then turned to the individual markets. We now work with thousands of independent health insurance agents, expanding our carrier partners to accommodate the growing business.      
 
As our business evolves, so do the agents we serve and the offerings we provide. All for free. As one of the largest FMOs in the region, our support includes thorough compliance guidance; back office assistance (enrollment processing, claims questions, customer service inquiries, and more); live or on-demand sales, marketing, and product training; co-op marketing opportunities and leads; a dedicated account manager; quoting and enrollment technology; and customized marketing templates and materials. 
 
Through Action Benefits, three generations of Albrechts (Gary, Karl and Troy) have served as advocates for our clients and their customers. We come to work day in and day out with that mindset and attitude, and have never lost sight of the value personal relationships bring to our work.
