The Hanover Insurance Group is seeking a dynamic, proactive, and experienced HR Compliance Analyst to help advance our HR compliance governance program and foster a compliant, people-first workplace. This highly visible role offers the opportunity to partner across Employee Relations, Legal, Payroll, Compensation, Talent Acquisition, HR Technology, HR Support Services, and other key stakeholders to help ensure regulatory requirements are effectively assessed, implemented, monitored, and sustained across the HR function.
As a trusted partner and advisor, you'll leverage your experience in HR compliance, governance, audit, risk management, or related disciplines to navigate complex regulatory requirements, support enterprise-wide compliance initiatives, and drive continuous improvement. You'll play a critical role in strengthening accountability, enhancing operational effectiveness, and helping the organization proactively identify and address compliance risks in an evolving regulatory environment.
This position offers the flexibility to work remotely or in a hybrid capacity. To support collaboration and connection with the team, we are looking for candidates who reside within the New England region and can travel to the Worcester office as needed for business meetings, team events, and other in-person activities. Position Overview:
The HR Compliance Analyst plays a key role in advancing Hanover's HR compliance governance program. This position partners across Human Resources to help identify, monitor, assess, and track compliance obligations while supporting effective governance, risk management, and accountability practices.
The HR Compliance Analyst serves as a key partner across Legal and HR functions including Employee Relations, Payroll, Compensation, Talent Acquisition, HR Support Services, and external compliance resources. To promote a proactive and sustainable approach to compliance. Through cross-functional collaboration, analysis, reporting, process improvement, the successful candidate will ensure compliance requirements are vetted, owned, monitored, and executed consistently across HR.
