Job Summary

The Equipment Finance Syndications Manager plays a lead role in the origination, structuring, and execution of capital markets transactions. This individual will support the growth of existing and new clients. This individual will be heavily involved with deal sourcing, structuring and syndication execution. The Equipment Finance Syndications Manager will be responsible for all facets of the origination and syndication process including interacting with multiple Relationship Managers and Executive Sales Officers to manage opportunities and pipeline, pitching FEF’s capabilities and securing client mandates, coordination of offering materials and required documentation, and acting as the primary investor and client interface to ensure efficient and prompt transaction execution.

This position offers significant opportunity for growth as FEF looks to expand its syndication capabilities over the next several years. This role will consist of significant direct client and investor relationship management and an annual budget for syndicated volume and fee income production.

Job Responsibilities:


  • Drive revenue and fee income growth by sourcing new opportunities, advising clients on optimal financing strategies, and managing deal execution.
  • Strong technical expertise, deep market knowledge, and proven leadership capabilities to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with commercial banking partners and clients to originate Equipment Finance mandates. Act as a trusted advisor in client meetings and pitch discussions.
  • Lead complex transaction negotiations.
  • Expand the bank’s presence in equipment finance by enhancing relationships with institutional investors, nonbank lenders and syndication partners.  Develop new investor relationships and sources of capital across banks, insurance companies and nonbank/specialty finance companies.
  • Monitor equipment finance trends and regulatory developments. Anticipate risk issues and partner with internal control functions to mitigate exposure. Contribute to internal thought leadership. 
  • Foster a high-performance sales culture focused on client solutions and market expansion.  Drive collaboration across internal leasing, risk, and credit teams to support deal origination and execution.  Fully engage all functional teams in the deal process.  Gain insight into successes and challenges through client and partner feedback.  Provide feedback to the internal deal team to discover opportunities for improvement. 
  • Involvement in industry related associations.  Represent FEF at industry conferences, trade shows and client events.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Education level required: Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent).
  • Minimum experience required: 10+ Years of experience in capital markets, equipment leasing, or structured finance.
  • Strong institutional investor relationships and deal execution expertise.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication & presentation skills.
  • Team player, goal oriented, driven and self-motivated.
  • Experience leading the deal process from initial pitch to closing
  • Strong credit skills, analytical expertise and writing proficiency.  Strong communication skills and negotiation capabilities.

  • Capital Markets & Leasing Expertise – Deep understanding of lease acquisitions, syndications, structured finance, and secondary markets.
  • Investor Relations & Deal Sourcing – Strong network of institutional buyers and syndication partners.
  • Financial Acumen & Risk Management – Ability to structure deals that balance growth and risk.
  • Regulatory & Compliance Knowledge – Strong grasp of leasing regulations and banking capital markets requirements.
  • Travel as dictated by client needs.

Pay Range

$136,312.00 - $245,556.00
