Together we fight for everyone’s opportunity for a better financial future.
We will do this together — with customers, partners and colleagues. We will fight for others, not against: We will stand up for and champion everyone’s access to opportunities. The status quo is not good enough … we believe every individual and every community deserves access to financial opportunities. We are determined to support both individuals and communities in reaching a better financial future. We know that reaching this future depends on our actions today.
Like our Purpose Statement, Voya believes in being bold and committed to action. We are committed to a work environment where the differences that we are born with — and those we acquire throughout our lives — are understood, valued and intentionally pursued. We believe that our employees own our culture and have a responsibility to foster an environment where we all feel comfortable bringing our whole selves to work. Purposefully bringing our differences together to positively influence our culture, serve our clients and enrich our communities is essential to our vision.

- Define the Claims measurement framework, including KPI definitions, calculation methodologies, data dictionaries, business rules, reporting dimensions, and standards for interpreting and using metrics.
- Translate claims operations into measurable business outcomes by determining what should be measured at the individual, team, product, and enterprise levels across workload, inventory, productivity, timeliness, outcomes, quality, and capacity.
- Establish operating measures such as opening inventory, decisions completed, remaining workload, follow-up activity, time to decision, and liability acceptance rate.
- Create the end-to-end reporting architecture and roadmap for Claims, establishing the portfolio of operational, leadership, executive, and external customer-facing reporting required to manage the business.

- Establish a trusted and governed suite of claims data and metrics that serves as the authoritative source for business performance and decision-making.
- Turn claims data into actionable management insights that help leaders understand workloads, outcomes, trends, capacity, performance drivers, and emerging risks.
- Partner across Claims Operations, Underwriting, Pricing, Actuarial, Product, and Technology to ensure reporting supports daily operational management and broader business decisions.
- Own the continued evolution of the claims reporting capability by identifying gaps, prioritizing new metrics and reporting needs, and expanding the reporting suite as business needs mature.
- Translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, measurable outcomes, and prioritized delivery plans.
- Represent the business in backlog management, sprint planning, release planning, prioritization, and delivery decisions.
- Lead business readiness activities, including process-impact assessments, training, communications, testing, user acceptance testing, adoption, and change management.
- Monitor delivery progress, risks, dependencies, adoption, and post-production outcomes, coordinating stabilization and issue resolution as needed.
