What you’ll accomplish with us

As a Senior Systems Programmer, you’ll be at the core of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:

· Maintain and support our z/VSE operating system and subsystems (CICS, POWER, VTAM, etc.)
· Manage and support third-party products (EPIC, BIM-EDIT, FAQS/PCS, etc.)
· Troubleshoot system-level issues and performance bottlenecks
· Support our Lifecomm policy administration system at the infrastructure level
· Write and maintain system utilities and exits in HLASM
· Handle system IPLs, patches, and upgrades
· Perform capacity planning and system tuning
· Collaborate with vendor support when needed
· Document systems and procedures
· Respond to compliance and security requests

What could accelerate your success in this role

We’re looking for someone who:

· Holds a bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field

· Has 10+ years of experience in IT, including 5+ years supporting mainframe environments

· Is known for their ability to diagnose and resolve complex system problems
· Stands out for their strong Assembler programming skills
· Demonstrates expertise with z/VSE subsystems (CICS, POWER, VTAM)
· Is recognized for their attention to detail and critical thinking

The typical hiring range for this position starts at 105,000.00 USD per year; the base salary offered may vary depending on knowledge, skills, years of experience, and internal equity related to the role. At iA, we are committed to offering a fair, equitable, and market-based compensation structure. Our market data is updated annually to reflect the most current market conditions.
