Job Summary:

The Manager, AI, Data & Privacy Risk is responsible for developing and overseeing risk management frameworks for artificial intelligence (AI), enterprise data, and privacy compliance across Acrisure. This role provides oversight for:

  • AI models developed internally
  • General-purpose LLMs consumed from external providers
  • AI capabilities embedded in third-party technologies

The position ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, ethical AI principles, and organizational risk appetite while enabling innovation.

Responsibilities:

AI Risk Governance:

  • Develop and implement risk frameworks for AI/ML models, including validation, monitoring, and explainability.
  • Apply SR 11-7 principles for model risk management across internally developed models.
  • Assess risks associated with general LLMs and AI features in acquired technologies.

Data & Privacy Governance:

  • Oversee data governance policies and procedures, ensuring data quality, lineage, privacy, and security.
  • Collaborate with business units to ensure compliance with data protection regulations (GDPR, CCPA, and emerging AI privacy laws).
  • Risk Assessment & Reporting:
  • Conduct risk assessments for AI, data, and privacy initiatives and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain KRIs and dashboards for AI and data risk posture using AuditBoard.

Policy & Standards:

  • Support creation and enforcement of AI, data, and privacy risk policies, standards, and appetite statements.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Act as a subject matter expert for AI, data, and privacy risk across the organization.
  • Provide training and awareness programs on AI ethics, data governance, and privacy risk management.

Education and Experience:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Risk Management, or related field (preferred; experience may substitute).
  • 7+ years of technology risk experience, with at least 3 years focused on AI/ML, data governance, or privacy compliance.
  • Familiarity with SR 11-7 model risk management.
  • Experience with AuditBoard or similar GRC platforms.
  • Understanding of AI/ML lifecycle, data governance tools, and privacy frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • ISACA: CRISC, CDPSE, AAIA (Artificial Intelligence Auditor), AAISM (Artificial Intelligence Security Manager)
  • IAPP: CIPP/US, CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT, AIGP

Pay Details:

The base compensation range for this position is $133,365 - $180,435. This range reflects Acrisure's good faith estimate at the time of this posting. Placement within the range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity.

Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.
