What you’ll accomplish with us

As a Senior Financial Systems Analyst, you’ll be at the core of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:

  • Financial systems administration including setting up new accounts, managing roles, permissions and systems changes.

  • Build consistency & efficiency by troubleshooting reported system issues and evaluating current processes for possible improvements.   

  • Work with finance and accounting to gather business requirements for system enhancements or implementations.

  • Collaborate with systems vendor to provide support when escalating system issues or requests is required. 

  • Run validations and design automated processes to support data accuracy, security, and compliance with internal controls and external regulations (e.g., 52-109, IFRS, STAT).

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Is known for their ability to effectively juggle multiple projects

  • Stands out for their political acumen, empathy and ability to self-reflect

  • Demonstrates a basic understanding of accounting principles and practices. 

  • Is recognized for their initiative, critical thinking and problem solving. 

  • Has 3-6 years of previous experience

  • Has experience working in financial systems to include change management, ITGC's and controls and knows how to get the most out of them.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, information systems, or related field.   

  • ERP system knowledge and knowledge of reporting tools and advanced Excel
