Job Summary

The Enterprise Communications Consultant is responsible for the development and execution of internal communications initiatives across various channels. This individual will research, write, and edit content designed to inform and engage our employee audiences. The consultant will also help manage communication plans and contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of content on the company intranet.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead the development and delivery of integrated communication plans for internal use that utilizes tactics such as email, newsletters, presentations, company intranet, and more.
  • Lead a cross-functional Marketing and Communications project team to meet initiative objectives related to associate communication. Ensure our associates are well informed and apply the information we communicate. 
  • Understand and execute our company voice, tone, and compliance standards to ensure content is aligned.
  • Collaborate with communications and marketing colleagues to support messaging and make connections that deepen employee understanding of key initiatives.
  • Participate in cross-functional team meetings and contribute ideas to improve communication effectiveness.
  • Support intranet content updates and organization, ensuring timely and relevant information is available to employees.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects.

Work Requirements/Education

  • Bachelor's degree required.
    • Recommend Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years' experience in marketing and communications.
  • Internship or academic experience in communications, writing, or digital media.
  • Experience in agentic AI is beneficial.
  • Strong command of grammar, AP Style, and ability to write clear, engaging content.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams.
  • Ensuring accuracy and compliance with brand voice and tone.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments and adjusting to changing priorities.

Salary Band: 5B

This selected candidate will be expected to work hybrid in Indianapolis, IN. The candidate will also be expected to physically return to the office in Indiana as business needs dictate or for team building and collaboration.
