Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about supporting small businesses? WSFS Bank is seeking an SBA Loan Closer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a critical part in the SBA loan process—ensuring accuracy, compliance, and exceptional customer service. You’ll work closely with internal teams, customers, and external partners to facilitate smooth and timely loan closings.
Job Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for SBA Relationship Managers, customers, title companies, and insurance agents throughout the closing process.
Provide operational support for SBA lending initiatives and ensure compliance with SBA and Bank policies.
Communicate regularly with SBA closing attorneys to coordinate required documentation and closing items.
Collaborate with loan servicing staff to maintain quality loan files and complete post-closing reviews.
Partner with brokers and manage post-closing disbursements to ensure timely and accurate funding for every transaction.
Stay current on SBA Standard Operating Procedures and apply them to all closings.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field, or equivalent experience.
Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in SBA or commercial lending operational support.
Previous SBA lending or operational support experience is strongly preferred.
Must have a working knowledge of SBA rules, regulations, and standard operating procedures.
Must have a working knowledge of the SBA approval process.
Must have proven superior customer service skills.
Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as excellent listening ability and presentation skills.
Salary Range:
$64,491.00 - $105,949.50Individual base pay may vary on additional factors such as the candidate’s experience, job-related skills, relevant education, geographic location, and other specific business and organizational needs.
