Compensation: $72,000-$76,000
Incentive Compensation: 7.5% of servicing client revenue
Reports to: VP of Institutional Advisory & ERISA Governance
Schedule: 8:00am-5:00pm (M-F)

Job purpose:
As a Retirement Plan Consultant, you will work with the clients, Investment team, and plan administrators to provide investment and capital markets research, analysis, and advice to our clients. Responsibilities include analyzing investment managers’ portfolios; reviewing investment reports; preparing exhibits and other presentation documentation; and answering client questions and requests. This requires someone with attention to detail, an interest in investment markets, and willingness to contribute with high standards and professionalism within a small team.

Duties and responsibilities:
- Client retention, building relationships with key client personnel. Acquire a thorough understanding of client’s business and intentions for offering a retirement plan to employees.
- Leveraging technology and automation to develop and implement an efficient small-plan service model.
- Utilizing this service model to manage 100-150 small plans by integrating automation, CRM systems, AI, and other advanced technologies.
- Discovering opportunities to cross sell deferred compensations plans, FinPath, or other HUB service that might be beneficial to the clients business.
- Working with the client to determine a service model that matches the plan revenue and the clients expectations.
- Present retirement plan reviews that cover:
- Updates on plan administration & compliance.
- Updates on regulation, litigation, and legislation that might affect retirement plans.
- Updates on retirement plan education activities.
- Recaps on capital markets
- Retirement plan investment monitoring
- Finalizes financial information from multiple sources in order to prepare quarterly investment performance reports.
- Proactive communication and engagement with the clients. Making yourself a trusted resource for all matters related to retirement plan development.
- Use technical, analytical, and communication skills to support the client, RIA operations staff, and recordkeepers in all aspects of data-related work.
- Active in the promotion and activities of increased plan participation and participant contribution rates.
- Basic knowledge of capital markets and investments and/or keen interest in developing knowledge of capital markets and investments.
- Other responsibilities / duties as assigned or requested by management
Work experience:
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Strong technical and analytical skills
- Required Licenses & Credentials: Must have 65 or Series 7 and 66
- Preferred:
- Proficiency in spreadsheets and large data management
- Proficiency in fi360, Relius Administration, and PensionPal
- Advanced investment designations such as CFP, or CPFA, etc.
- ASPPA Credentials Preferred
