About the ProExec Team:
The ProExec (Professional & Executive Lines) team focuses on management liability, professional liability, cyber, and other executive risk products. This group partners closely with retail brokers to deliver sophisticated, timely, and client‑centric solutions. As part of this fast‑moving team, you’ll support broker operations that enable seamless placement of high‑priority, specialized accounts.

Position Summary:
The Broker Assistant provides critical operational, administrative, and transactional support to the ProExec brokerage team. This role ensures smooth day‑to‑day workflow, accurate documentation, regulatory compliance, and effective internal communication. Working closely with brokers, the Broker Assistant helps move submissions, renewals, and transactions to timely completion by managing paperwork, updating systems, and coordinating with cross‑functional teams.

What will your job entail?

Operational & Administrative Support

  • Execute and coordinate daily brokerage operations to support brokers and ProExec workflows.
  • Prepare submission materials, documents, cover letters, and renewal packets to support marketing efforts.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as filing, printing, organizing, and archiving documents.

Data & Documentation Management

  • Enter, update, and maintain client and account information accurately across required systems and platforms.
  • Maintain organized records of accounts, transactions, and documentation in compliance with regulatory and internal requirements.
  • Support preparation of operational or compliance reporting as needed.

Client Service & Communication

  • Respond to broker inquiries via phone, email, chat, or in person with accuracy and professionalism.
  • Coordinate with internal departments—including finance, compliance, and risk management—to meet business requirements and resolve issues.

Compliance, Risk & Process Improvement

  • Follow regulatory requirements and internal policies in all documentation and workflows.
  • Assist in identifying potential operational risks and partner with risk teams to implement controls or procedural enhancements.
  • Support process improvement initiatives that increase team efficiency and operational accuracy.

General Support

  • Provide ad hoc assistance to brokers and the ProExec team as needed to ensure smooth business operations.

Requirements

Work Experience

  • 1+ years of experience in insurance, underwriting, brokerage operations, or related fields preferred

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Preferred fields: Business Administration, Sales, Risk Management, or related disciplines.
  • Equivalent work experience may be considered.

Licenses & Certifications

  • Required: Ability to obtain state Property & Casualty (P&C) and/or surplus lines licenses as prescribed.
  • Preferred: No additional licenses required.

The target hourly rate range for this position is $21.00 - $26.45 per hour.

The wage range for this role considers many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, licensure and certification, business needs, and market demands. The pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Full-time roles are eligible for bonuses and benefits.
