How You’ll Contribute:

As an Inforce Non-Financial Supervisor, you will lead and support a team responsible for processing non-financial policy transactions and service requests with accuracy, efficiency, and care. You will play both a leadership and hands-on role—coaching team members, managing workflows, resolving complex issues, and ensuring high-quality service delivery.

This role partners closely with Policy Administration leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and exceptional customer experience. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about delivering outstanding service in the life and annuity insurance industry and who bring strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills to the team.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Policy Administration professionals to meet departmental and organizational goals
  • Provide day-to-day oversight of workflow, productivity, and service standards
  • Support hiring, performance management, employee development, and employee engagement initiatives
  • Monitor staffing levels, time off, and overtime to ensure proper coverage
  • Handle complex and escalated service issues with professionalism and sound judgment
  • Perform quality reviews to ensure accuracy, regulatory compliance, and consistent application of policies and procedures
  • Analyze and prepare departmental reports and metrics to guide workflow and decision-making
  • Interpret policies and procedures; recommend enhancements when appropriate
  • Lead or support team meetings and foster open communication
  • Process non-financial transactions such as address changes, EFT updates, beneficiary and ownership changes, Power of Attorney reviews, trust documentation, and other service requests
  • Maintain strong knowledge of EquiTrust products and applicable state regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate across departments to support company-wide objectives

What You’ll Bring:

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of life and annuity insurance experience required
  • 3+ years of life insurance and/or annuity experience preferred
  • Prior supervisory or team leadership experience preferred
  • Experience with annuity non-financial service requests preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong mathematical, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines
  • Comfort navigating multiple systems and technology platforms, including Microsoft Office and proprietary systems
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Skilled at handling escalated calls and complex service situations with professionalism
  • Ability to adapt to change and support change management within a team environment

Physical Requirements:

This role is primarily office-based and performed in an 8-hour workday.

  • Frequently communicates verbally and in writing
