The HR & Talent Acquisition Specialist supports the full employee lifecycle by providing administrative and operational assistance across Human Resources and Talent Acquisition. This role is responsible for coordinating recruitment and onboarding activities, maintaining accurate employee and candidate data in Workday, supporting compliance and reporting requirements, and delivering positive candidate and new hire experience while ensuring HR processes run efficiently and accurately.
Key Accountabilities/Deliverables:
Support the HR and Talent Acquisition teams with administrative duties.
Create new job requisitions in Workday. Preparing for job posting.
Schedule HR phone screens and interviews as requested.
Greet and assist interviewees who come for onsite interviews as needed.
Initiate and review new hire background checks.
Review onboarding tasks in Workday. Submit tasks for hiring manager actions.
Submit new hire IT ticket requests.
Complete I9s via E-Verify.
Ensure that new hires have access to Workday on their first day, following up as needed to make sure that access is gained.
Keep candidate information and status up-to-date and accurate in Workday.
Assist with coordinating career fairs and preparing recruiting materials for events as needed.
Ensure all employment data is maintained accurately in Workday
Assist with annual EEO reporting in April.
Connect with manager to assess performance prior to end of introductory period and conduct 90-day post-hire interviews.
Other HR duties as assigned.
Technical Knowledge and Understanding:
Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or relevant field preferred or equivalent years of work experience
Experience as Recruitment Assistant or another recruiting-related role.
Experience using recruiting software and social networks for recruiting
Knowledge of Workday a plus
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to quickly address issues and find solutions to problems
Strong organizational and time management skills
Great attention to detail
Outstanding communication skills
Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, management, or equivalent work experience required.
1+ years of experience in Human Resources, or similar position.
Previous experience in Human Resources or Talent Acquisition preferred.
