In this role, you’ll continue building your knowledge of our facilities, systems, and preventative maintenance programs—while making a visible difference every day.
What You’ll Do
In this hands‑on and highly impactful role, you will:
- Operate, monitor, and maintain building systems including HVAC, boilers, electrical, plumbing, security, and fire alarm systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair pumps, motors, pneumatic controls, and computerized temperature and security controls.
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and maintain accurate logs and documentation.
- Prepare seasonal equipment for use and ensure proper off‑season storage.
- Maintain the appearance and health of lawns and landscaping, including care, fertilization, trimming, and coordination of supplies.
- Support snow and ice removal during winter months to keep sidewalks, parking lots, and guest houses safe and accessible.
- Serve as an on‑call resource for after‑hours or weekend emergencies related to building systems.
- Act as a key liaison between Celina Insurance Group and external contractors, including oversight of daily cleaning services.
- Respond to service requests from the Sr. Building Manager and ensure work is completed efficiently and on time.
- Painting, drywall repair, home maintenance, operating lawn equipment.
What You’ll Bring
Technical Knowledge & Skills
- Working knowledge of HVAC systems and computerized controls.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical wiring, equipment, and schematics.
- Familiarity with fire alarm and suppression systems.
- Experience working with maintenance contracts and service agreements.
- Ability to read and interpret building blueprints.
- Sound judgment and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Additional Requirements
- Flexibility to participate in an on‑call rotation for after‑hours or weekend needs.
- Valid driver’s license.
- The ability to work alternate shifts as required—including weekends and off-hours—which are typically scheduled ahead of time to cover co-workers' absences or building maintenance during closures.
- Hours – 11:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. (could be subject to change in the future).
Experience & Education
- High school diploma with 1–3 years of maintenance experience.
- Ohio Boiler License is not required but a plus.
- 1–3 years of experience with computerized HVAC systems and security control systems.
