Brown & Brown is seeking Commercial Lines Producer to join our growing team in St. Petersburg, FL!

 

The Commercial Lines Producer position generates new business production through the sale of Property & Casualty insurance products and maintains an existing book of business.

 

How You Will Contribute: 

  • Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with insurance prospects and existing clients, generating a profitable book of business.

  • Maintain a strong, active pipeline by proactively identifying new business and cross-selling opportunities.

  • Work with Commercial Lines Sales Leader and the Commercial Lines Service team to develop, implement, and achieve sales objectives and marketing strategies, including individual prospect sales plans.

  • Respond promptly and effectively to referrals, and actively seek new referral leads from clients and business contacts.

  • Lead and facilitate enrollment meetings, ensuring alignment with client needs, and collaborate with internal and external teams to implement effective risk management solutions.

  • Deliver policies, explain coverage details, exclusions, and payment expectations, and handle binding and documentation accurately.

  • Ensure compliance with coverage limitations to reduce errors and omissions.

  • Expand the agency’s reach by building and nurturing a strategic referral network,and representing the firm in influential civic and professional organizations.

  • Help design prospecting strategies and participate in community outreach activities.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Licenses & Certifications:  

  •  Florida 2-20 Property and Casualty General Lines (within 30 days of hire)

Skills & Experience to be Successful: 

  • 4 - year college degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • 1-3 years experience within similar role or position. (preferred)

    Working Knowledge of AMS, CRM or ImageRite. (preferred)

  • This position may require routine or periodic travel dependent on the client and team. If routine travel is required, it may require the team member to drive their own vehicle or a rental vehicle. Acceptable results of a Motor Vehicle Record at the time of hire and periodically thereafter, and maintenance of minimum acceptable insurance coverages as a requirement of this position.
