Custodial Specialist

We take great pride in the experience we provide our employees and guests. As a Custodial Specialist, you'll be on the front line of delivering this experience. Your duties will include ensuring the facility is in world-class condition from the perspective of cleanliness and orderliness. Our custodial group consists of individuals who are empowered to decide how to perform their duties best to achieve the exceptional level of service we desire.    

Shift hours: 7:00am - 3:30pm

How You'll Make an Impact 

  • Maintaining cleanliness of Central buildings including:
    • Trash Pickup
    • Carpet Cleaning
    • Hard Floor Care
    • Restroom Cleaning
    • Window Cleaning
  • Assist in cleanup and maintenance of equipment and campus
  • Maintain equipment cleanliness according to manufactures recommendations, reporting issues when appropriate
  • Apply cleaning solutions and chemicals in accordance to labels and laws
  • Assisting with other special projects throughout Central Insurance campuses
  • Complete beverage and room set up as requested, including but not limited to: coffee, water, soft drinks
  • Weekend/holiday on-call as scheduled including the monitoring and announcements of severe weather
  • Cleaning of Central’s rental properties as assigned
  • Train and answer questions for others within the team 
  • Monitor and report problems for Central systems including, but not limited to heating and cooling systems, plumbing, electrical, and lighting

  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Multi-tasking and prioritization skills

  • Ability to understand Central Insurance’s policies and processes
  • Basic computer skills
