PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reconciles, adjusts, and maintains balance sheet accounts
Prepares monthly recurring journal entries
Assists with month-end close and ad hoc requests
Ability to research and troubleshoot
Brings issues and discrepancies to appropriate leader, while identifying potential solutions
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot tables, Xlookups, and keyboard shortcuts
Effective written and verbal communication skills to be able to interact effectively with various levels of colleagues both inside and outside the accounting organization.
Must possess excellent organizational skills
Exhibits professional skepticism
Must demonstrate the organization’s core values, exuding behavior aligned with the firm’s culture.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
A four-year degree in Accounting required
1-2 years’ in corporate accounting or auditing required, or relevant internship(s) if a recent Accounting graduate.
Working knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
CPA track is a plus, but not required.
OTHER:
Fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
Must be able to interact effectively with various levels of management both inside and outside the organization.
