About the Team:
Global Finance Services (GFS) business unit serves as the finance support function for WTW across segments and geographies. Based in Mumbai, the Finance Operations Network (FON) team i.e. Record to Report (R2R) team comprise of professionals, including Chartered Accountants, finance graduates, and accounting specialists at both graduate and postgraduate levels. This highly experienced group provides a wide range of financial services, leveraging their expertise to deliver consistent, high-quality support across the organization.
Job Summary:
You will become part of the Finance Operations Network (FON) - Record to Report (RTR) Subject Matter Expert team with in-depth system and process knowledge. You will report into the Finance Operations Network lead. As part of the Finance Operations Network - Record to Report (RTR) you will focus on: Operational support activities, supporting end to end process improvement, standardisation, and harmonisation in Record to Report processes and supporting transition to Record to Report Operations.
Areas of responsibilities:
Blackline/Oracle General Ledger – develop Subject Matter Expert’s skill, support operational activities, standardization efforts and quality improvements
Operational Record to Report activities including management of Volumetrics, Service Level Agreements (SLA's) and Open Items
Support initiatives related to Record to Report continuous process and system improvements
The subject matter experts are responsible for their respective process area. Reporting into Finance Operations they will each own a sub-process, with ongoing interaction between Controllership (client of Finance Operations), Global Process Owner (overall process design owner) and with WE DO’s Corporate Operations and Service Management team.
