Summary:

As a Personal Lines Insurance Account Executive, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional service to high-net-worth clients and supporting colleagues with complex personal insurance needs. This position combines technical proficiency with relationship management, ensuring every client receives tailored solutions and a superior experience.

You’ll manage an assigned book of business that includes moderately complex accounts, working with some producer and management involvement while maintaining accountability for accuracy and timeliness. Your responsibilities include servicing policies, handling renewals, and supporting new business production—all while adhering to established procedures and resolving challenges with professionalism.

This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to providing guidance and advocacy that fosters client loyalty. With your growing expertise in personal lines products and coverage options, you’ll become a trusted resource for clients and colleagues alike.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Professional Development
  • Meet performance goals and maintain accountability for self-development.
  • Stay current on industry trends and maintain product knowledge through ongoing education.
  • Compliance & Process Adherence
  • Follow agency procedures, service standards, and timelines.
  • Utilize agency technology and systems to ensure accurate documentation and workflow compliance.
  • Client Service & Relationship Management
  • Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries and resolve issues within established timeframes.
  • Coordinate with producers and team members on account status and escalate concerns when necessary.
  • Renewal & Retention Management
  • Oversee the renewal process, including pre-renewal reviews, proposal preparation, and client meetings.
  • Identify coverage gaps, recommend solutions, and negotiate pricing and terms with carriers.
  • Ensure timely delivery of renewal recommendations.
  • Growth & Revenue Development
  • Identify opportunities for account rounding, cross-selling, and referrals.
  • Present quotes and recommendations to enhance client protection and agency growth.
  • Support acquisition and onboarding of new customers to the agency
  • Data Integrity & Documentation
  • Maintain accurate client and policy data in agency systems.
  • Document all correspondence and activities in compliance with agency standards.
  • Corporate & Team Initiatives
  • Participate in corporate projects and workflow improvements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support organizational goals.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or insurance designations.
  • 3+ years of property and casualty or other insurance service experience or minimum of 1+ year of property and casualty insurance sales experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active property and casualty license obtained within 90 days
  • Experience with Agency Management Systems.
  • Strong time management skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize.
  • Strong written and verbal skills with high levels of professionalism.
  • Need to be able to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex issues.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong PC and internet skills including intermediate user level for Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
