Training Requirement: Participants must attend a 4-week in-person training program in Cincinnati, OH beginning August 10, 2026

This program is designed to develop high-potential talent into future claims professionals through immersive training, mentorship, and real-world exposure across multiple lines of business.

What You’ll Experience

As a Claims Trainee, you won’t just learn—you’ll do.

  • Gain exposure to property, auto, workers’ compensation, liability, and specialty claims
  • Work alongside experienced professionals to investigate claims and uncover key facts
  • Participate in field investigations and real-time claim scenarios
  • Learn how to analyze coverage, evaluate liability, and support fair claim resolutions
  • Build confidence navigating conversations with customers, agents, attorneys, and vendors
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Underwriting, Loss Engineering, and SIU

A Structured Path to Success

  • In-person training kickoff:
    A 4-week immersive training program in Cincinnati (beginning August 10, 2026)
  • Ongoing mentorship and coaching from seasoned leaders
  • Clear progression with increasing responsibility as you grow
  • Company-sponsored enrollment in the Associate in Claims (AIC) designation program, with completion expected within 12 months

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct claim investigations by reviewing policies, gathering information, and documenting findings
  • Support claim resolution decisions with a focus on accuracy, fairness, and compliance
  • Maintain detailed, organized claim files in accordance with regulatory standards
  • Deliver a high level of customer care during critical moments for policyholders
  • Manage multiple priorities and develop strong organizational discipline

Important Program Details

  • Travel to Cincinnati is required for the initial 4-week training program
  • Candidates should be available to start on August 3, 2026
