Risk & Underwriting Support Specialist

Full‑Time | Hybrid | Location Flexible (U.S.)

As a Risk & Underwriting Support Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting core underwriting and loss‑analysis processes, generating reports, validating data, and assisting with program administration.

What you’ll accomplish with us

As a Risk & Underwriting Support Specialist, you’ll be at the core of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:

Reporting & Data Analysis (60%)

  • Generate recurring and ad hoc reports

  • Compile data from internal systems

  • Assist with analysis of loss ratios and performance trends

  • Validate data accuracy and completeness

  • Maintain reporting templates and documentation

  • Partner with cross‑functional teams to support data needs

Exception Request Support (20%)

  • Review basic exception requests

  • Gather supporting data and documentation

  • Escalate complex requests to senior team members

  • Document decisions and maintain records

  • Communicate outcomes to relevant stakeholders

Operational Support (20%)

  • Respond to inquiries received in the risk inbox

  • Maintain documentation and organize shared folders

  • Assist with system updates and administrative tasks

  • Support cross‑functional teams as needed

  • Participate in meetings and maintain organized files

  • Is known for strong attention to detail

  • Demonstrates basic analytical skills and the ability to interpret data

  • Is recognized for strong communication and collaboration abilities

  • Has a High School Diploma (bachelor’s degree preferred)

  • Has experience in the automotive industry (preferred)

  • Is proficient in MS Office and comfortable learning new systems

  • Works well independently and as part of a team

  • Adapts well to procedural and organizational changes

  • Has an intermediate level of English proficiency, as the role involves regular communication with internal teams and stakeholders
