P&C IT Services provides professional services to help our business units and corporate functions use technology to create, manage, and optimize information and business processes. Great American Insurance Group is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our Enterprise Content Management (ECM) team. This role works at the center of how the organization captures, stores, governs, and retrieves business-critical content across platforms such as ImageRight, FileNet, and DocEx. The Senior BA partners closely with business units, engineering, project teams, and governance stakeholders to translate complex content and records management needs into clear, actionable requirements, leveraging automation and AI-assisted analysis to improve the speed, quality, and clarity of delivery. A significant focus of this role is supporting platform stabilization, modernization, and content migration efforts, where disciplined requirements gathering and scope clarity directly impact project success.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience: Generally, a minimum of 6 years of related experience that includes designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting, and/or maintaining applications, or configuring and using application software in a business setting.
Scope of Job / Qualifications
Provides requirements guidance to program managers, project managers, and project teams. Participates in all phases of the requirements lifecycle for small to moderately complex programs and projects, with the ability to take the lead on ambiguous, high-impact content management efforts. Exhibits strong business knowledge and the ability to identify and define business needs, including a high level of understanding of the organization's business and technology operations. May make recommendations for best practices and introduce new techniques and tools to the BA practice. Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather and analyze data to drive decision-making.
