Job summary:

Acrisure is seeking a Managed Care Program Analyst to design and develop business intelligence solutions that transform complex data into actionable insights. This role is responsible for building dashboards from the ground up, writing SQL queries, developing executive-level reporting, and delivering meaningful analytics that help leadership evaluate program performance, manage claims costs, and identify opportunities to improve operational outcomes.

Working closely with leadership and business stakeholders, the Managed Care Program Analyst will translate business questions into scalable reporting solutions and interactive dashboards. This individual will identify trends, uncover opportunities, and present data in a way that supports strategic decision-making across the organization.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex analytical problems, building reporting solutions from scratch, and using data to influence business decisions. While experience within insurance, healthcare, managed care, or claims is beneficial, the strongest candidates will bring exceptional business intelligence, data visualization, and SQL development skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reporting solutions using Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, or similar business intelligence platforms
  • Write SQL queries to extract, validate, and analyze data from multiple data sources
  • Translate business requirements into dashboards, reports, and visualizations that support strategic decision-making
  • Perform complex analysis of claims, managed care, and operational data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement
  • Develop executive-level reporting that communicates key performance indicators and actionable business insights
  • Analyze claim costs, program performance, provider utilization, and operational metrics to support business planning and continuous improvement
  • Partner with leadership and internal stakeholders to define reporting needs and develop scalable analytical solutions
  • Validate data accuracy and ensure the integrity of dashboards, reports, and analytical models
  • Present findings and recommendations to business leaders in a clear and meaningful manner
  • Support ongoing managed care initiatives through advanced reporting, analytics, and performance measurement
  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned

Requirements:

  • Experience designing and developing dashboards from scratch using Tableau or Microsoft Power BI
  • Experience writing SQL queries and working directly with relational databases
  • Demonstrated experience translating business requirements into dashboards, reports, and business intelligence solutions
  • Experience performing complex analysis of large data sets and delivering actionable business recommendations
  • Strong understanding of data visualization principles, KPI development, and business intelligence best practices
  • Experience with SAS, SAS Visual Analytics, or similar analytics platforms highly beneficial
  • Advanced analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends and opportunities within complex data
  • Experience working with insurance, healthcare, managed care, workers' compensation, or claims data beneficial
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical findings to non-technical audiences
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required

Education and licenses:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field required
  • Master's degree in Analytics, Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Business Administration, or a related discipline highly beneficial

Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.
