What You’ll Do

As a Compliance Specialist I, you’ll work with internal teams, agency partners, vendors, and regulators to support important compliance activities. This role is a great fit if you enjoy variety, solving problems, staying organized, and learning new systems and processes.

  1. Licensing Administration
  • Help manage agency and producer licensing activities, including appointments, terminations, renewals, records, invoices, and vendor tools.
  • Stay connected to state licensing requirements and partner with Sales and Marketing and other teams on licensing updates.
  1. Filing Coordination
  • Coordinate regulatory filings for company products, including routine, renewal, and project-related submissions.
  • Prepare materials, track filing status, maintain records, and help monitor important regulatory deadlines and bureau communications.
  1. Compliance Operations Support
  • Keep compliance records, reference materials, documentation, and department procedures organized and up to date.
  • Support research, data gathering, system testing, workflow improvements, projects, expenses, invoices, budgeting, and reconciliation activities.
  1. General Responsibilities
  • Bring professionalism, confidentiality, strong customer service, and a continuous improvement mindset to your work.
  • Use AI-assisted workflow tools and take on other responsibilities that support the team’s success.

  • You are willing to learn company systems, compliance technologies, and AI-assisted tools.
  • You have experience in insurance operations, regulatory compliance, licensing, filings, or a related area, or you are eager to build that experience.
  • You bring curiosity, problem-solving skills, and a helpful, customer-focused approach.

 

Your Training & Experience

  • An associate degree is preferred, but equivalent education and experience will be considered.
  • Two or more years of experience in insurance, compliance, licensing, agency services, regulatory affairs, or a related administrative role is preferred.
  • Professional insurance designations or licensing experience are helpful, but not required.
