Bridge Specialty Group is seeking a Sr. Analyst, Brokerage Placement to join our growing team.
As a Brokerage Placement Senior Analyst, you will provide the “running start” for the brokerage team on more complex insurance risks. Research opportunities will allow you to advance your analytical skills and offer consultative support to our partners. Your ability to develop lasting relationships will result in the creation of new business opportunities, ultimately driving sales and growth.
How You Will Contribute:
Underwriting Mastery: Review and evaluate submissions for acceptability, ensuring alignment with company guidelines. Negotiate with precision coverage terms and requirements. Provide timely issuance of quotes and bind policies effectively. Gather and maintain meticulous, organized, and complete underwriting files. Assess risks within established authority. Apply underwriting guidelines and standards across multiple carriers and lines of business and ensures compliance with carrier guidelines, state regulations, and surplus lines requirements.
Strengthening Existing and Building New Relationships: Cultivate strong connections with agents, internal teams, carriers, and external partners. May develop relationships by attending agency-based functions, product fairs, and carrier or industry conferences to promote the organization.
Growth Oriented: Achieve team / individual production goals through developing a profitable book of business and strategically growing both policies in force and premium.
Effective Communication: Skillfully communicate, both in writing and verbally, to all stakeholders with a clear and concise message.
Market Insight: Research agency, carrier, and market data for informed decision making. Collaborates with agents, internal teams, and carriers to identify profitable growth avenues.
Support and Expertise: Address inquiries within established service level standards and exhibit underwriting expertise. Educate agencies on carrier and products available in your area of expertise and guide agents beyond your focus area, referring to opportunities as needed. Handle inquiries and customer complaints within authority for resolution.
Projects & Process Enhancements: Lead or participate in projects and committees within the business unit. Identifies, analyzes, and recommends process improvements. Perform quality assurance reviews from within the department to ensure acceptable decision making. Mentor and participate in training of newer teammates.
Performance: Consistently meet or exceed the standards within the service level agreements and underwriting process requirements.
Ensure coordination of your own work with broader team and business unit priorities.
Skills & Experience to Be Successful:
Required
P&C License and Surplus Lines License or L&H License in all states (if required by product line) required within 45 days.
Solid understanding of brokerage placement programs and sophisticated placement techniques.
Understands and adheres to state specific statutes involving underwriting, applicable insurance laws, and regulations.
Has a good understanding of multiple carriers' products, market conditions, pricing, and marketing techniques.
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills are key to present information to all levels of internal and external contacts.
Ability to train and develop less experienced associates.
Strong product knowledge, technical skills, communication and consultative ability, sound decision-making, problem solving, and a results-driven, customer-focused mindset.
Ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing situations.
Preferred:
Undergraduate studies in business administration or related field of study, degree preferred.
CIC, CPCU or pursuit of technical insurance coursework preferred.
Three to five years of related insurance experience preferred.

Pay Range
60,000.00 - 65,000.00 AnnualThe pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
