This Fiduciary Practice Manager role will oversee and support the sound operation of Huntington's fiduciary businesses and will serve as the senior leader responsible for the development, buildout and management of Huntington's centralized administrative review team.

Key Responsibilities

Fiduciary Practice Managers are part of the Fiduciary Governance team within the Chief Fiduciary Office. They apply fiduciary knowledge and judgement to:

  • Ensure fiduciary activities are performed in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures, in relation to account activity
  • Recognize fiduciary risk issues and seek appropriate resolution
  • Provide advice and guidance regarding the bank's fiduciary responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain procedures for fiduciary oversight and effective management of product risks; partner with Risk colleagues to maintain related controls
  • Serve as a subject matter expert regarding trust and fiduciary matters
  • Partner with Business, Legal and Risk colleagues to implement changes in response to identified risks, statutory and regulatory changes
  • Serve as a member of fiduciary governance committees and working groups overseeing fiduciary activities.

The Fiduciary Practice Manager will build and manage a team of fiduciary professionals responsible for completing administrative account reviews (both initial and periodic) of fiduciary accounts. This experienced leader will:

  • Work with colleagues within the Chief Fiduciary Office to expand the framework for delivery of centralized account reviews;
  • Collaborate with business unit, Risk and Compliance colleagues to ensure effective and efficient workflows for administrative reviews, including developing monitoring and reporting;
  • Manage the administrative review team;
  • Have thorough knowledge of fiduciary procedures and regulatory requirements.

  

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years fiduciary experience (administration, law practice, fiduciary advice) and management experience (including a track record of building successful, collaborative teams).
  • Bachelors Degree.

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Advanced degree (e.g., JD, CPA, MBA)
  • Experience in governance roles within an OCC-regulated fiduciary organization.
  • Exhibit knowledge of fiduciary duties and applicable laws, including trust and tax law.

Compensation Range:


The compensation range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and education.  Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan.  In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
